Игра же мертвая давно вроде, соснула по апдейтам и онлайну.
По апдейтам, да соснула. Из-за суда конечно, так ещё много контента туда бы завезли. По онлайну хз, для популярной игры онлайн просто на дне, для комфортной игры в F13, 1000 онлайна вполне хватает.
И что, стоит это брать? Допилили ее наконец что ли?
Смотря в какой момент времени ты её видел. Если во время релиза, то с того момента уже многое добавили. Но, из-за суда за права над франшизой Friday the 13th в игру не могут добавлять новый контент, и в ней уже давно не было ничего нового. Онлайн в среднем от 400 до 600 человек. По скидкам, хэллоуину и пр. у игры онлайн от 1500 до 2000. Этого онлайна для такой игры вполне хватает.
Не подскажешь, как они начали пилить игру, если были какие та проблемы с лицензией/правами на игру? А то я как то гуглил в своё время, ответа не нашел, может ты знаешь
Проблемы с правами не конкретно у разработчиков и издателя. Игра вышла в 2017, всё было нормально. Суд начался в июне 2018, в суд подал сценарист первой части фильма Пятница 13, он был наемным рабочим, после написания сценария его задача была выполнена, но на старости лет захотелось денег, и он подал в суд на человека которому принадлежат права над франшизой Пятница 13 на данный момент. К нему обращаются компании и прочее на приобретение прав для снятия фильма, создания игры и прочего. В общем, во время суда нельзя использовать материал из той или иной франшизы, то есть по Пятнице 13, делать и изменять ничего нельзя. Издатель игры заявил об этом, и вскоре разработчик игры покинул проект, и на их место пришла более маленькая студия для поддержки игры. И издатель так-же добавил, что если суд закончиться, не важно в чью пользу, по этой игре они не планируют ничего делать. У них на планах другая игра, а та студия разрабов что сделала игру, сделала игру про Хищника, возможно уже видел трейлер.
P.S. Суд ещё идёт, вот твит сценариста: Суд принимает апелляцию, а это значит, что заседание будет примерно 10 февраля 2020. Это также означает, вероятно, что решение будет принято к июню 2020.
